Robert
M. Melançon is the Managing Principal of our firm. Bob graduated from Loyola University where he received a
Bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in Business Administration with a concentration in Labor
Management, and holds NASD Series 6 and 63 securities licenses.
In addition to his executive search consulting responsibilities, Bob is a
noted writer and speaker, and is considered an authority on the topic of
executive selection. He is also the author of the professionally acclaimed

Prior to entering the search profession in 1980,
he enjoyed a highly successful career in Human Resources with Shell Oil
Company, Hoechst-Celanese Corporation, and Frito-Lay, Inc.
During his fifteen-year tenure with these Fortune 50
corporations, Bob held human resource management positions at
plant, division, and corporate staff levels, with a focus on executive
selection.
All
of the consultants associated with the firm also come from senior human resources management
positions with Fortune 50 corporations, and/or have a minimum of 15 years
experience in executive search. This
is one reason why the firm is considered exceptionally effective as an outside
staffing and consulting resource.
